I too am having the synch failure, Unrecognised Database format. I've tried the backup on the Server, which was successful, but the restore doesn't return any messages or errors. The workstation is still failing to synch.

 

I've checked the share to be ok, security is ok and hav even un-installed and re-installed the client. The other worstations are working fine.

Can I get you to check what version of PLP you have installed and what version the other workstations that are working have installed.  They will need to be on the same version for synchronisation to work.  You can find the version by going to Help>About Prep Learning Profile in the program.

d'oh! Looks like that is the problem. The working workstation is version 2.0.8 and the laptop is 2.0.7 Thanks
