The Essential Learnings Import Tool is now available.  This tool allows you to import the Essential Learnings into your Prep Learning Profile for tracking in place of Outcomes.  You can download the Essential Learnings Import Tool by right-clicking this link and selecting Save Target As.  Save the file to your computer, then double-click the file to run.

1. Ensure that you have backed up your Prep Learning Profile Database before beginning.
2. On the first screen of the program, enter the location of your Prep Learning Profile Database.  If you have a School License, this must be your Master Database (not a Client Database).  Then click Next.
3. Select which level Outcomes you wish to disable in Prep Learning Profile.  Any Outcomes from these levels will NOT be removed from Student's Portfolios, but will not be available in the lists to selected in the future.  You can re-enable them within Prep Learning Profile if needed.  Then click Next.
4. Select which level Essential Learnings you wish to import into Prep Learning Profile.  These will be able to be selected in place of Outcomes.
5. Select whether you wish to import Knowledge and Understanding elements, or Ways of Working elements or both.
6. Select how you want the new Essential Learning elements to be coded.  Then click Next.
7. Tick the 'Import Descriptors of Quality' box if you wish to import these descriptors.  These will appear when you right-click in any control for making judgements in Prep Learning Profile, to assist with making judgements.
8. Click Finish and your selections will be processed and your Prep Learning Profile updated.
